Netrun CAD Web

Measured drawing in a browser — built for an iPad and a pencil, in the field

Drawing where the work is

Landscape designers do not work at a workstation. They walk a site, and the drawing that matters is the one made while standing on the ground being drawn. Desktop CAD does not go there, and sketching apps do not produce a measured plan anyone can build from.

Netrun CAD Web is a real CAD surface that runs in a browser, designed around a tablet and a stylus. It draws to scale, carries a plant database with water-use ratings, and exports the DXF and scaled PDF that the rest of the industry expects.

The same application serves a second audience under a different address: for construction teams it becomes a viewer for 3D scans with detected building services overlaid, which is where it meets Survai.

Capabilities

Real drawing primitives

Line, rectangle, circle, polyline, arc, ellipse, spline and dimension, with five dimension styles — measured geometry, not freehand strokes.

A command line that feels familiar

88 command aliases in the AutoCAD LT idiom, so someone who already knows CAD does not have to relearn the basics to move fast.

Six tool modes

CAD, draw, colour, text, route and diagram — one canvas that covers the measured plan and the sketch you put over it.

Imports what a site gives you

DXF, IFC building models, OBJ and PLY scan meshes, GeoJSON, KML and KMZ, plus a satellite basemap to draw against.

Exports what the job needs

DXF R12, scaled PDF, SVG and PNG, plus generated plant and irrigation schedules.

Fast enough on cellular

A 172 KB compressed first paint, reduced by 77% from where it started — which is what makes it usable on a phone tether at a site.
